Free Methodists are part of the Holiness Movement.
The church’s name derives from its rejection of the practice in some churches of renting pews to provide income, but other "freedoms" are explained as well in the links that follow...

Issues/Concerns regarding this denomination:
Infant Baptism - Listed below is what this denomination believes.
"Baptism is a symbol of the new covenant of grace as circumcision was the symbol of the old covenant; and, since infants are recognized as being included in the atonement, they may be baptized upon the request of parents or guardians who shall give assurance for them of necessary Christian training." (Source: www.freemethodistchurch.org/Sections/About%20Us/Beliefs/Doctrines/Articles%2014-16.htm)
To find out what is wrong with infant baptism, please view our link on that topic here.
Entire Sanctification - Listed below is what this denomination believes.
"XII. Entire Sanctification A/119. Entire sanctification is that work of the Holy Spirit, subsequent to regeneration, by which the fully consecrated believers, upon exercise of faith in the atoning blood of Christ, are cleansed in that moment from all inward sin and empowered for service. The resulting relationship is attested by the witness of the Holy Spirit and is maintained by faith and obedience. Entire sanctification enables believers to love God with all their hearts, souls, strength, and minds, and their neighbor as themselves, and it prepares them for greater growth in grace." (Source: www.freemethodistchurch.org/Sections/About%20Us/Beliefs/Doctrines/Articles%2010-13.htm )

Ordination of Women - Listed below is what this denomination believes.

"Free Methodist leaders laboring over God's Word continue to hold strongly to the legitimacy - in fact, the importance - of women taking pastoral leadership in the church." (Source:www.freemethodistchurch.org/Sections/About%20Us/Beliefs/Where%20we%20stand/Women%20in%20Ministry/Women%20in%20ministry%20-%20main%20page.htm )
